Tips to improve skin health for glowing skin

Skin is the body’s largest organ.
Our skin has many functions which is why we need to take care of it.
Many factors can can impact our skin badly some are in our control and some are out of our control.
Here are some simple tips to keep your skin healthy, young and radiant.

1. A healthy well balanced diet.
Feed your skin from the inside by eating foods high in antioxidants and minerals. Cutting out processed foods and foods that are high in sugar.

2. Sleep.
We all need our sleep for our body to regenerate and repair its self.

3. Stress less.
Keep your stress under control. Take a deep breathe, go for a walk, mediate. Stress can take a big toll on our bodies as well as our skin.

4. Drink water.
Flush out all those toxins and keep your body hydrated, increasing blood flow for healthy skin.

5. Exercise.
Getting our heart rate up and our blood circulating to kick start our body to producing more collagen and healthy skin cell renewal.

6. Don’t smoke.
We all know smoking is bad for our health and just as bad for our skin leading to premature ageing.

7. Keep skin moisturised.
Using good natural products will help keep your skin hydrated and protected.
Moisturise skin when damp.

8. Use water that is on the cooler side.
Don’t use hot water on your skin it can strip away natural oils and damage your skin.
Use lukewarm water when washing makeup and products of your skin followed by a cold rinse.
Using cold water on your skin increases blood flow, tightens skin and regulates your body temperature.

9. Pat skin dry.
Being gentle with our skin can protect us from premature ageing. When we rub our skin it can cause damage and remove natural oils, also when our skin in slightly more damp our products are more easily absorbed.

10. Wear minimal makeup.
Wearing less makeup is far better your skin letting your skin breathe by not clogging it up with makeup will defiantly keep your skin glowing and healthy.
